Wide color gamut is a unique technological advantage of LED displays. The full color gamut coverage of LED displays reaches over 36%, which can meet the 100% MTSC color gamut. However, LCD and DLP are only about 32% of the full color gamut coverage, and currently can achieve 76% of the NTSC color gamut.
The wider the color gamut range, the richer and more vibrant the colors presented. Currently, LED displays can achieve a total of 281 trillion colors.
As mentioned earlier, the brightness and chromaticity indicators of a single LED light leaving the factory are discrete, and there are also errors in the output channel of the constant current source. In order to present better results, single point brightness correction and chromaticity correction compensation technology are adopted to achieve better skin color restoration.
